What did you notice about how we were as a class on Thursday and Friday as we did this activity?

I think we are starting to trust people and people are giving good ideas to the class. I think people are breaking out of their comfort zones which is awsome.
We got along so well and it was amazing. This is how class should be everyday. It's good to see everybody having fun, not just with thier own friends, but with everybody in the class.
We all seemed to trust each other and cooperate as a team. That is why we finished the activity on our first try. So i'd say the activity was a success.
we all seemed to trust eachother more. people were coming out of thier comfort zones and volunteering and even though some people were scared we got them over too with courage and support. it was sweet and people weren't just getting the activity over with we were actually having fun! --sugar mama

I think we encouraged each other and everyone was a part of the activity. I think because it was fun and that we all wanted to succeed, we were able to work together as a group. Thank you to those who carried people!
Although I disliked this activity I really admired how we worked so well together as a class. It was challenging, but we supported one another and everyone got over in one piece. Even the people who struggled got over.
I really liked this activity, it was amazing to see everyone participate, work together, and support each other. I mean being unbelievably scared of heights, i still loved it, as i knew there were people who were there for me, not only in the physical, but people cheering me on and givings me congrats once I got over. It was just an amazing activity and I really enjoyed it
this activity was probably one of the best activities that we've had. we all cooperated with each other and i felt like there was some trust there too. we were all having fun watching everyone climb the wall and going over it ourselves. the activity was a huge success and a ton of fun!
I think we all are learning to trust each other and get into the activities a lot more. Also, I saw a lot of people participating that usually dont and that made me feel really good. Keep up the good work guys!
This activity was so much fun because we worked as a team and it should be like this all the time. I think we are trusting people now and we got along with everybody.
I'm really proud of us as a class. We had everyone participating and I think everyone was really having fun. We all worked together to get each other over, and we were positve and supported everyone emotionally as well. After seeing us all work this way, I'm really looking forward to the rest of the year.
i think we all just barried our fears and our not trusting in all the right ways. i don't think everyone fully trusts eachother but i truley think that this was the perfect activity to get eachother to trust eachother. it was fun so no one could say it was lame. it was scarry for some people afraid of heights and i wanna say thanks for biting the bullet in order to complete the task, i have never been afraid of heights so i can't really say i know where your coming from, all i can say is thank you for doing it and i hope that this is the baby steps leading to steps leading to leeps leading to jumps of getting over that fear. for those of the people who thought it was easy and fun i think we all can work on helping those who don't think it easy, not that we didn't do it just i think we can do it better
all and all i can only say that these tasks we did were nothing more or less than a win, a small feat in itself but you can't limit progress and our ability to move forward from here on out, i hope that there will be no more set backs to us moving forward
once again we all need to pat ourselves and others on the back from what i would like to say is our first offical win !!
i really liked this activity because it was something completely different than what we have done in the past. at first i was really scared that i would get dropped and i honestly didnt think that our class would be able to complete this activity. i was so surprised when we actually got it all done on the first try. i feel like everyone was a lot nicer to eachother and it was cool to be able to finish something as a class.
I think we worked better together than I thought we initially would. I also heard a lot of encouragement, especially for Samme, who really conquered her fears, I don't know if I could overcome a fear in just one day. Afterward I heard from other adventure ed. classes that the didn't make it over the wall. I felt really accomplished after we completed it and it was a great end to the week!
I think that our class has really come together :). I must say congrats guys we made it over the wall. The best part about us making it over is the fact that we did it together. I don't know about you guys but I'm siked about the next activity.

Because everyone is getting into the activities we are doing, the class is feeling less "lame". I love how everyone was clapping for those who had trouble getting over the big wall. I'm really proud of those who were really afraid to do the activity, and because they chose to trust the class, and it's evidence that there's a lot of trust building.
I thought as a class we did really well. We worked together and helped each other out mentally and physically. We all trusted each other because we all got over the wall. yay :)
I was afriad at first being able to get over the wall. I dont like heights, so that made me even more afraid. But i liked this activity, because it was fun. And we all worked as a team with no problems. That made me happy that there was no fighting. It would be cool to do more stuff like this activity.
the wall over all i would say that it took alot of trust to get through this! everyone had to trust kurt and i to help them get over on the first day and on friday everyone had to trust ashley and leseth(sp?). i would say that it took alot of teamwork and it showed as we completed the activity each day! it is definatly a huge improvment from last week and i think that we need to keep it up!

I have been teaching since 1995. I started teaching at Winston Campus Junior High in Palatine. In 2001 I began teaching at Fremd. I am an assistant golf and wrestling coach. I have also coached boys gymnastics and I was a sponsor for Powder Puff Football and Outdoor Adventure Club. I am the 4th child of 5, 3 older sisters and 1 younger brother. I am married and I have two great boys 2 1/2 year old and a 5 week old. Chase and Brody. I love it when I come home and chase yells out "DADDY" and has a big smile on his face and is coming to hug me.

I found this activity to be quite enjoyable, even though I freaked out the first time I tried it. High places are frightening. o_O

'twas the best this class has ever been. we were able to work through this because we all put ourselves out there and tried. GOOD WORK!!!

i really saw us coming together much better than before. We made a plan and changed it where we saw fit.

we work well with each other and had a lot of trust too. all in all i think the activity was a success because of trust and teamwork.
in agreement with pretty much everyone, i will reiterate that:
-we worked together
-we encouraged everyone
-everyone got involved
-some people faced their fears
-we beasted this activity
