Wow, this semester has been something...I'll give you that. Obviously we've all had our ups and downs but looking back at the beginning of the year--everyone's come such a long way and even better we've all come a long way together. This class has really been amazing for me, it's just been a break during the day where I could just (as Mr. H would say) "be with" people. You all are really great people and I just can't wait for next semester.
Over the course of the semester, this class has taken huge leaps and bounds. If you take the time to look back to where we were at the beginning of the semester.... We were a total mess, bickering constantly and never getting anything done. Now we have the ability to work together as a team. FINALLY. Its been fun guys, and I hope it continues to be this way.
Honestly, where do i begin? Although the beginning of the semester was a bit bumpy, our class seems to be doing quite well together. i love this class! I love what we do during class a lot, but the people in our class still piss me off sometimes. They just don't care. for example... a person in my repelling group either just stands there and does nothing or goes and talks with friends. It's really hard to fully get the activity right without full cooperation. It always seems that there are one or two people at the least who will never really enjoy or participate in the daily activities, and I think that i'll just have to accept that fact. I'm glad we got past team building activities, though. that shows that we are making some progress. I don't know. Repelling so far as been my worst subject. I'm TERRIFIED of heights and I really don't want to get injured again. I've broken my arm twice and sprained me ankle..... and that's not even from doing any kind of sports! I just trip and injure myself.... hehe. anyway, I hope that we can make just as much progress in the upcoming semester. We've done so well so far! Maybe we'll be more like a family than a class. Maybe then I'll be comfortable enough to go to Devil's Lake!
In the beginning of the semester, I didn't know what this class would be like. Throughout the semester, we had some problems with participating and attitude. However, I think now everythings going well. People are participating and having fun. We've learned to trust each other and also learned more about each other. It's a really fun class. I'm excited to see what Mr. H has prepared for us next! :)
I think that we have all come a long way since the beginning of the year. I feel more comfortable with everyone in the class than I did when we first started. I'm excited for all of the new challenges that we will have to complete next semester.
this semester has been so interesting watching everyone grow comfortable w/ each other. though some people are leaving next semester, which will make sorta an empty spot in our class, i can't wait to see how people deal with the fun and scary things that are yet to come.
I think we've had a really great semester even though we got off to a rough start. I am also really looking forward to next semester even though alot of people are transfering out.
At the beginning of the year I remember coming to the first day of outdoor adventure and knowing hardly anyone in the class. I've made so many new friends this year in this class and am really glad that I chose it! I also remember rollerblading, which was horrible but I lived through it (yay!), and I remember that brief period when our class was a complete mess with tons of bickering, complaining, and everyone being mad at everyone. We've definately come a long way since then! Now we are all a really great team. I've learned a lot this semester, and I hope this next semester will be another great experience.
I can't believe this semester is over it has been fun getting to know everybody. I've met new people and getting to know them has been great. There were problems when people weren't listening to eachother and never getting our activities done. Now i like this class and next semester is going to be fun.

I've met a lot of really amazing people and have made so many friends. I know next semester will be just as awesome as this one, especially now since we're doing more "adventure-y" stuff.
I actually can't believe that the semester is already over. This class has been really fun so far, it's one of the classes I actually look forward to instead of dreading cuz I have to take it. I'm also really excited to see what's coming up and what new fun-filled activities lie ahead. I know that in the past we had some conflicts but now we have really come together and I don't really dislike anyone, or have a problem with anyone...I mean we're really great together and you guys are what make this class fun cuz without the cooperation we wouldn't be able to do any of these things.
Wow, has this semester gone by fast! It seemed like last week that we were getting to know one another and learning how to communicate with each other. I think that we have definitely gone a long way since that point. It was really tough in the beginning because trusting people isn't something we usually have to do in a class. Usually, we just sit down in our seats next to our friends and listen to our teachers and then leave and go to the next class. Once we learned how to talk things out, we really improved. I am so excited about this upcoming semester. I think we are all excited to finally be climbing and moving to the next level as a class. I can't wait to learn new stuff this semester and get to know you all better!
this semester was fun! i've gotten kinda crazy because of the end of the semester, but other than that it's been fun. i hope we get some new kids in our class! (not that i'm tired of anyone, haha) i think it'll be interesting if we do.
yeah, I agree with everyone else basically. A lot happened. I think our class became a lot closer than we were back than. I'm glad I got to be in this class. I had a lot of fun this semester. That roller blading unit seems like it was a loooong time ago... jeeze, time flies!
I might leave this class next semester. I might not. I don't know yet. If I do, I will miss you guys for sure. Hope to see ya'll next semester!
this semester has been really good. at the beginning i thought it was kind of boring with the team building activities but i guess we had to do it to get to where we are now. after everything we have been through in this class i still enjoy coming. im really excited for next semester!
i am more comfortable with everyone in the class and trusting people more. but i dont really like this class that much. i wish we could do a variety of different things instead of just repelling for like weeks straight with like once a week active days. it just gets boring now. but its been okay and i loved the roller blading!
i cant believe it. I dont want it to end I love this class. We came a long way to get where we are and i like it. We had some ups and downs but we're good now. And four more months and imout of here

This semester has had some major upturns. We all learned to communicate better and cooperate. We're all much more mature and class is so fun. I'm really looking forward to next semester where we can do even more exciting stuff.
This semester has been really crazy. Alot of things happaned, alot of feelings coming out, alot of openeing barriors and letting people inside. Also, alot of physical pain and mental freak outs too. But overall this semester has been [retty amazing and heart failing, but an awesome expierence. I feel somthing new everyday, wether it's adrenaline, or heart failure.
What can i say....lets see....wow....ummmm well the semester is over=( and well lots of things came out....good and bad!! it was fun we learned a lot...we learned how to help eachother out. Everything at first seemed real hard and stressful, but now it's easy... Now that we all know eachother we gor more trust!!!

I have been teaching since 1995. I started teaching at Winston Campus Junior High in Palatine. In 2001 I began teaching at Fremd. I am an assistant golf and wrestling coach. I have also coached boys gymnastics and I was a sponsor for Powder Puff Football and Outdoor Adventure Club. I am the 4th child of 5, 3 older sisters and 1 younger brother. I am married and I have two great boys 2 1/2 year old and a 5 week old. Chase and Brody. I love it when I come home and chase yells out "DADDY" and has a big smile on his face and is coming to hug me.

it's been a pretty interesting semester. made lots of friends and i'm able to trust practically everybody. it's been so much fun, i love this class
