hing i must say would be, you would mr. H. put up a video about golf! lol but anyway i have great respect for this guy! walking for every touniment and walking every hole has to be very hard! it takes greatt endourence to do so! i think this is just a picture at what is to come for him! do you know mr. H. if he is going to be doing the samething for the 2009 pga tour? if he is that is amazing!
wow i became really emotional when i saw this up here. I've been a huge fan of DJ for like forever because my dad is a golf fanatic. I first heard of him last year from my dad. when i heard he had CP i was shocked that he would be walking all of the 2008 PGA. i have a friend with CP and she's stuck in a wheel chair for life. I told her about DJ Gregory and she was so proud.
to see the integrity of this guy born with CP to walk 900 miles and to complete his goal of walking the entire 2008 PGA golf tour is amazing. Just like a person in the video clip said, to see what this guys is doing and see that he hasn't complained once about walking or anything and then to hear your self complain makes you never want to complain again. Im so happy that he completed his goal and it makes me want to strive to complete things myself. --suga mama
I'm really glad you posted this Mr. H...it was even more inspirational than I can even fathom...my heart goes out for DJ Gregory, for being able to have the strength and endurance to complete him task, and his family, for supporting him along the way.
just the willpower that this guy has is absolutely incredible. for someone who was told that they would never walk in their entire life, walking 900 miles on the entire 2008 PGA Golf Tour is an absolute dream. it's really inspirational to see someone who has overcome so much to do what he wants, and i have a lot of respect for DJ for doing something of this caliber. it's just incredible.
The courage, integrity, and determination of this guy leaves me speechless. He is someone that is inspiring to all and lives up to the principle of going beyond one's own limits and proving that they can do incredible things.
it was really cool and inspiring that he walked all that way even with what he had. It's inspiring to people with CP and better for the environment too.
God bless him! He has more strength than most people have. What an amazing experience to be able to touch so many people through a single goal. What a blessing!
I'm actually kind of speechless right now. This is very inspirational to me. It makes me feel bad about all the complaining I do on a daily basis. The part that got to me most was the part when he said that he was going to fall, but he had to get up and keep going. It applies to life in general for me. Sure, I'll have bad days, but I have to just put them in the past and move on. It has also inspired me to climbing. From now on, I'm not going to to give up on a wall. I'm going to keep trying until I get to the top.
This movie was really inspiring. Just especially that this guy is so dedicated that he would continue and do something he loves even though it is so hard. It really shows anyone CAN do anything.
This was so sad! And this was so inspirational. DJ went through alot in his life, and he still overcame it and got on the top. He didn't let his disabilities stop him from doing what he wanted, and he didnt complain about it or anything which was pretty cool. I think golf takes alot of patience, and he has it, probably from his own life expierences. Overall, this was a great video!
not a big fan of golf. nope, nope. but the work that this guy has put into a sport that he loves is incredible. it must've taken a lot of work and a lot of determination, but i truly do admire what he does.
this guy is very inspirational. he didnt give up on his goals even though it was very hard for him. if we all could learn something from his courage i think everyone would be able to achieve a lot of their own goals.
this guy has an amazing drive.. and he has completed an awsome acheviement.. it makes me double think walking and how we walk everywhere but we never think twice about it and what it would be like if you couldnt walk or doctors told you that you would never be able to walk.. i also thought it was soooooo sad when he was talking about being embarassed.. i understand how he could be but he really has NO reason to be.. he has acomplished the unthinkable.. he should be nothing but proud of himself.. this was very inspirational :)
aw, i have a dream that keeps getting bumped down, but this video gave me the extra boost i needed. obviously i respect the man very much. thanks for sharing the video with us mr. h!
Its really cool to see him look at his disease as sort of a challenge and not as a battle. Im really happy that he completed his goal by the end og the tournament. I liked when he was talking about how we all fall off our horses but we get back up and try again. He fell a couple times which really puts him down but he didnt let it get to him because he is do dedicated to achieving his goal. It was a great video and very inspiring. Its great to be back in class!!!
Mr H! I really liked this video. i thought it was really inspiring. It shows that as long as you have determination and you believe in yourself, you can achieve anything. Also, you have to have persistance and do what you need to do to be successful. Thank you for showing us this video! :)
This movie was really inspiring to me. i think what ever you put your mind to you can achive what ever you were aiming for and ths guy showed how it ends.
I have been teaching since 1995. I started teaching at Winston Campus Junior High in Palatine. In 2001 I began teaching at Fremd. I am an assistant golf and wrestling coach. I have also coached boys gymnastics and I was a sponsor for Powder Puff Football and Outdoor Adventure Club. I am the 4th child of 5, 3 older sisters and 1 younger brother. I am married and I have two great boys 2 1/2 year old and a 5 week old. Chase and Brody. I love it when I come home and chase yells out "DADDY" and has a big smile on his face and is coming to hug me.
